It runs guided tours of Asmara, Massawa, Keren, Green Island and the Dahlak Islands, plus cycling and multi-country tours, 4x4 and car rental, visa-on-arrival assistance and travel permit handling. The company states that it prices directly on the ground, with no middle-man markup.

- Foreign visitors need a travel permit to go more than 25 km outside Asmara. Dahlak Tours arranges permits for its guests.
- Visas: Dahlak Tours arranges visa-on-arrival for clients. A scan of the passport photo page is enough, and the visa is collected at Asmara International Airport. Dahlak Tours charges a $100 visa assistance fee, and the $70 visa stamp is paid separately at the airport on arrival ($170 in total).
