Itinerary
Arriving early in the morning in Asmara, our driver is waiting at the airport to take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, we take a guided tour through Asmara.

Asmara is among the safest cities in Africa and has earned the status of being the fourth most desirable city of interest. These awards make it an irresistible place to travel to, along with the country’s other cities. Visitors will be able to experience the distinct architectural styles developed through the long heritage of the past.
The places we have planned to visit are among its many buildings. Roman Catholic Cathedral, Coptic Church of St. Mary, Al-Khulafa al-Rashedin, Medeber (famous recycling warehouse), Tank Graveyard, National Museum, Fiat Taglier architecture, etc. Asmara is a quiet and peaceful area, and you can enjoy beautiful weather all year round.

The journey to Massawa begins after breakfast with the drive from Asmara to the east via the Massawa – Nefasit route from an altitude of 2400 meters to Massawa to zero sea level in about 3 hours.
Visitors will experience three climatic changes along the way: – Cool, moderate, and hot weather. A short coffee break in Ghinday and dinner in Massawa are essential.

Early morning, we drive about 70 km south of Massawa to the old port of Adulis. It is a river port that served as a center of trade between the highlands of Eritrea and Ethiopia.
Zula is nearby. Both ports were at the center of the trade of the time, which was predominant in the Middle East. Then, already in the 7th century BC, civilizations developed. It is assumed that Adulis was a large city at that time. A small part of the city buried underneath and today has been excavated, but there is still too much to see.
Following a memorable stay in Adulis, In the late afternoon, return to Massawa.

After the morning meal, we embark on the three-day expedition to the Dissie & Madote Islands by speedboat to discover “the pearls of the Red Sea.” The route comprises some of the most fascinating and affluent coral reef islands.
Scattered over a vast stretch of the Red Sea like a pearl necklace over the translucent blue waters of the Red Sea, more than 350 islands of Eritrea, of which more than 200 islands belong to the Dahlak island chain, are among the last fabulous unaffected places in the world. The Dahlak island chain is a phenomenal setting with quite a few opponents worldwide.

The organization provides large and comfortable igloo tents; each tent is equipped with mosquito nets, an insulating floor. Each participant is provided with a sleeping bag, camp chair, portable toilet, a shower
A cook with a kitchen and other camping equipment and a sailor/assistant completes the camp. We serve tea, coffee (typical breakfast of the Eritrean lowland based). At lunch and dinner, a fresh fish on the island.
Four local drinks per person per day are included, including bottled water.

On our second day on the Dahlak Islands, we will continue to swim and snorkel. In the afternoon, Return to Massawa.

After breakfast, visit the port city of Massawa – the City of islands and the ‘Pearl of the Red Sea, a city that has been among the area’s most important ports for centuries. With its elegant Turkish-Egyptian-Italian style architecture and buying arcades, stunning mosques, and delicious fish and shellfish, Massawa is the perfect location to cater to all preferences.
In the mid-day, drive uphill while enjoying the beautiful surroundings and lush greenery right to Asmara, as time permits, with stops en route at fascinating sites.
At a suitable time for your flight, you will be transferred to the airport.
